چکیده
In the case of unilateral recurrent otitis media with effusion in adults, endoscopic examination nasopharyngeal tumor is necessary. Rarely, tumors can also develop eustachian tube. The incidence lipoma tube very rare. Lipomas are benign arising from mesenchymal tissue and composed well-differentiated adipocytes. A 49-year-old female patient visited for nasal congestion. But she had history repetitive ventilation insertion due to effusion. yellowish round mass was noted at left orifice under exam. It removed through intranasal access using sinus endoscopy. About 1 year after surgery, there were no recurrence middle ear

In this study, we evaluated the effectiveness of eustachian tube rehabilitation (ETR) as treatment for otitis media with effusion (OME). Thirty-five children with persistent OME were enrolled. Patients were divided into three groups: group I (isolated OME); group II (OME and atypical swallowing); group II (OME, habitual mouth breathing and atypical swallowing). All children underwent ETR. Otomi...

OBJECTIVE To compare the OME groups that improved when treated with adenoidectomy, VT and medication, and which of them recurred. METHODS Twenty-two consecutive children with recurrent OME (11%) were selected among 200 children who had adenoidectomies and had been inserted a ventilation tube (VT) for OME. The patients were selected for allergy evaluation because of recurrent OME not responsiv...
